Toilet and Shower block

We have a toilet and shower block with a total of four showers, four toilets, four sinks, hand dryers, hairdryer and phone charging points. We have also provided two dishwashing sinks.

Site shop, reception and pizzas

Our small reception is an office, kitchen, shop and outdoor seating area rolled into one and is open all the time we are on site. If we’ve had to pop out, just WhatsApp 01948 502250. You can see our current stock and order at https://marbury-camp-and-lodge.square.site/ but in summary, we stock:

• Custom made fire pits 
• Locally sourced wood, kindling and charcoal
• Mystic Fire Dust (new stock)
• A selection of alcoholic beverages including local Wrenbury Cider and 13 Oaks Gin.
• A selection of soft drinks
• Locally roasted Crave coffee and hot chocolate
• Local Snugburys Ice Cream
• A selection of chocolate and snacks including marshmallows and skewers for the fire pits
• A few essentials such as tea, coffee, long life milk and a few toiletries
• Games for hire

We hope to add more local produce such as eggs and honey in the near future so watch this space. 

We were doing handmade pizzas on a Saturday night, however David has very cleverly injured himself and will be recovering for many months to come. Handmade pizzas are therefore off the menu for a while. However, we have teamed up with Doughboys Italian pizzas and have got a couple of flavours in stock and will be getting more as they are available. We can do these any time we are on site and before 8pm. (i.e. not just Saturdays).

Chemical disposal

We have a sheltered chemical disposal point unit for portable toilet waste together with a handwash unit inside.

Recycling

We have numerous mixed waste bins at the entrance, by the middle gate and by the loo block. The waste is separated off site for recycling. We also have dedicated food, glass and cardboard waste recycling bins on site. Please ensure you take home any non-general waste.  The bins are provided for domestic waste, not tents, camping beds, camping chairs, fire pits complete with hot coals and burnt sausages.

Fire pits and firewood

We offer super “Flyer (Fire) Pits” for hire This includes your own Flyer pit, 2 bags of hardwood logs, a bag of kindling, matches and fire lighters. Everything you need for a campfire. Extra wood is available on site. We do not permit campers to bring their own fire pits or disposable BBQ’s
You can bring your own BBQ’s, but the base must be a MINIMUM of 12 inches off the ground to stop the grass from burning. Absolutely no open fires on the ground.

Dog walking field

We have a secure dog walking field on site for your pooches by the entrance gate. Whilst we cannot guarantee your pooch can escape, we’ve had none to date and it’s a good way to let the pooches off the lead for a good run around. Dogs must remain on a lead on the rest of the site and you must clean up after them.

Freezer packs

We have an on site freezer accessible at all times for freezer packs.”
